Lead and manage multiple engineering departments (35+ staff) responsible for all aspects of maintenance for equipment and facilities, as well as delivery of capital projects.Lead and coach a multidisciplinary team of project managers & engineers delivering a large program ($40m+ total value) of projects including new equipment procurement & installation, as well as upgrades to existing equipment. Fully automated system with no manual operator tasks.

This complex project was delivered while continuing to operate the GMP manufacturing facility, by completing the renovation works in stages while tightly managing controls and the impacts to nearby areas which continued to operate. The works included replacement of all HVAC systems, LED lighting, fire protection & sprinklers systems, a highly automated building management system (BMS), replacement of ceilings, internal & external walls. Total project value $25m+- Key role in the construction of our innovation centre, including GMP facility for filling operations for low speed lines. Total project value $12m+- Long list of small & medium projects including water distribution system for clean in place (CIP) water at 85 deg C, new steam boiler, compressed air system upgrade with new distribution pipework and compressor, automation upgrade of an existing mixing vessel, automated temperature monitoring and reporting of sensitive areas, and many more

Highly automated medium speed (150 units/min) with minimal operator intervention required. From bottle unscrambling through to automated palletising. The line includes a complex conveyor system working across multiple floor levels and between different buildings, with fully automated line control, all contained within a very small footprint.

In this role I have been exposed to projects through their entire life cycle, from concept to completion.
