About Glen Garrity

I graduated from trade school at the age of Eighteen and earned my journeyman's license in the field of HVAC. I gained valuable exposure to many public, commercial, industrial, and government sectors during this time. My diverse experience landed me in roles serving a multitude of clients. I was granted a government clearance to service Navy base HVAC systems on the East Coast and found myself collaborating with corporate real estate professionals to serve the needs of the executives of the Hartford Insurance. My early working years and experiences ultimately led me to discover additional opportunities in facilities management. My interest in serving the public got me involved with developing and managing both operating and capital budgets for a portfolio of municipally managed buildings, and I earned my Facility Management Professional (FMP), and Certified Facility Manager (CFM) credentials through the International Facilities Manager Association (IFMA).I have a passion for learning and am currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a focus in Public Administration. I find that the public sector supports continuing education and I take advantage of the many workshops, seminars, and networking opportunities that are provided.
