Provided technical expertise to start a field service organization for ATM's. Trained technicians in the troubleshooting and repair of ATM's and their components. Provided technical assistance and training to expand repair capabilities for NCR and Diebold ATM's in a depot repair environment.

Company co-founder, Engineering Manager and New Product DevelopmentStarted depot repair company for ATM circuit boards and assemblies from scratch. Did all research and reverse engineering on assemblies and PCB's used in multiple brands of ATM's. Developed test and repair processes to meet or exceed OEM specifications and wrote documentation. Sourced repair parts needed in the repair process and established the purchasing department. Hand built the computers the company was run on and kept our business software updated. Established the shipping/receiving department to accurately track incoming/outgoing customer repairs. Beta tested repair service parts for after-market manufacturers. Built and maintained test fixtures for troubleshooting failed components and burn-in after repair. Hired, trained and mentored repair technicians. Managed 12 repair technicians on a day to day basis. Provided technical support to customer field engineers. Was third level support for field engineers for a major ATM manufacturer. Turned a $100k SBA loan into a $10 million depot repair operation in less than 10 years. Gave the company it's reputation for quality repairs at competitive prices. A word to the wise: Never go into business with someone you think is your friend and never trust anyone in business.
