A member of the Site Functional Leadership Team and a member of the EMEA Regional HSES Team developing policy and strategy for the site and region. Led and been a member of various Corporate HSES audit teams, conducted audits on Eastman sites in the U.K. and in Europe. Where problems have been identified, requests have come to help troubleshoot problems on other Eastman sites. Presented reports and potential solutions to respective Site Leadership Teams. Site’s primary contact for both the HSE and the E.A. Over the years developed a good working relation with both Regulators, based on trust and honesty. Represent the site on the local CIA cell. Responsible for managing and developing direct reports, teams and contract personnel on a day-to-day basis.Expertise in: -- Behaviour Based Safety;- HSE culture change and safety leadership change;- 15 years experience as being the direct contact with the HSE and Environment Agency;- CDM 2015, currently involved in two CDM projects;- Safe Work Permit (SWP) & Lock Out Tag Put (LOTO) processes;- Emergency Preparedness;- Incident Investigation using RCA techniques;- Process Safety;- Radiation Protection Supervisor – radioactive sources and X-ray equipment;- Risk Assessments: Fire Risk Assessment, COSHH, Manual Handling, Ergonomic, Legionella Risk Assessment auditing under L8 and Role Based risk assessments.
