My name is Glen McBeath Kelly. I’m a Heritage and Conservation graduate from The University of Stirling and I’m actively seeking long term employment. I’m very interested in starting a career in the Heritage/Tourism Industry.Currently, I am working at VisitScotland where I am a member of a small team who helps to provide Tourists with the best possible information about Stirling and The Trossachs National Park from the city’s visitor information centre From a young age I’ve been very passionate about the country I was born in. I believe this is partly due to how beautiful Scotland is and how unique we are as a people. Everything from our music, to our food, to Scottish Football, to our nations wonderful ability of telling a story just right, is special. I’ve always loved being a part of it all but mostly I love sharing these things with people I’ve met from around the world. Eventually, sharing this beautiful country to new comers became more than a hobby and I began to pick up part time jobs that allowed me do what I loved.I realised very quickly that it was possible to make a career out of my love for Scotland. With the help of all my experience in the industry and my degree in Heritage and Conservation, I can achieve my goal to work with a prestigious organisation in the Scottish Tourism industry and establish a long term career by taking advantage of the opportunities that arise along the way.
