My background in energy processes, particularly those around Retail, was an essential ingredient in the success of this project.

Based on the Tibco integration software the main processes and information related to trading, retail, customer management, billing and customer service were integrated over a 2-year period. I managed a team of 15 consultants including both software vendor and client staff.• IT Strategy & Governance – I led an experienced IS Strategy, Architecture & Governance project, providing specific experience in the client, energy process expertise, IS strategy best practice principles, and governance insights from other industries and organizations. This project delivered a model for the effective governance and management of IS as a business.

I continued to develop and deliver business within IBM as a senior member of the Power and Utilities consulting team.Key Engagements & Achievements• Electricity Merger and Full Retail Contestability (FRC) – I served as stream lead and senior business analyst of a successful merger integration team for the clients FRC program. This large and complex program involved the merger of 3 smaller electricity companies and the development and integration of core processes, systems and information including Finance, Metering, Customer Service, as well as the connection to the market processes and systems. • Customer Information & Billing Process Review - A complete and independent review of the client developed Customer Information & Billing processes and program was conducted. As lead for the assignment, I performed the process and system review based on significant customer and billing process, and supporting systems experience. • Hong Kong - Customer Information System Requirements Analysis - Engaged by a Hong Kong client to be the Business Analysis Coordinator and Lead Analyst, I led and developed the detailed requirements definitions for the new Customer Information System. This stream was part of a larger program that included all aspects of the business, but particularly focused on Finance, Inventory, Customer Service and Works management. This project was multi-discipline and multi-cultural, with a team size over 60 consultants.
