I began my career by gaining my trade in aircraft structures. I was actively involved with the implementation and development of new aircraft components coming into production. In the 1997 I became involved in sales. My sales career began in the hydraulic and civil construction industry where I developed markets with Hydraulic Consultants and Civil Engineers. Projects in which I have been involved include Kingsford Smith International Airport upgrade (both terminal and airside) and various sites during the construction of Sydney Olympic Park. In 2001 I broadened my industry knowledge managing a number of branches for a large plumbing supply company. In this role I developed skills around the development of my team and managed the finances and inventory of the branch business. Some 9 years later I became State Sales Manager for a commercial tap ware company. Here I developed a small sales team and strengthened my knowledge in the specification market. Building relationships with Hydraulic Consultants, Architects and Governing Bodies specifically around the Health, Educational and Correctional industries. During this time I decided to further my education by enrolling with the University Of Western Sydney to gain my Masters of Business Administration (MBA). 2013 I became General Manager for a company specialising in precast concrete. My already strong relationships in all areas of the hydraulic, plumbing, construction, architectural and specification markets has allowed me to drive growth in the development of my team, process, production, quality and product diversification.I believe one must strive for continuous improvement to be not only a good manager but a good leader.
