Worked as a floating retail pharmacist. For the past year I was assigned as a staff pharmacist at a single store location. During this time I played an integral role in leading the pharmacy team. Despite being a lower volume store, we consistently led the district in several key performance metrics, including: • MTM completion, #1 in the district• Ancillary immunizations, #2 in the district. Individually, I was ranked third in the district administering over 100 ancillary immunizations. • Workflow metrics. Consistently exceeded 85% of scripts fllled in 15 minutes or less• Shared Work. Consistently exceeded shared work expectations.• Courtesy Refill. Consistently exceeded expectations with 40% or more of scripts being filled as part of the Courtesy Refill Program.• Point Of Care (documentation of pharmaceutical care aimed to increase/maintain Medicare Star rating). Consistently exceeded expectations.

Oversight of teams focused on maintenance and development of three different prescription dispensing systems deployed in 4800 pharmacy locations. Strategic planning and budgeting with upper and executive management. Coordination of technology rollouts with field management and internal stakeholders. Worked closely with key stakeholders to successfully coordinate rollout, training and systems conversions of 1700 pharmacy locations. Responsible for managing pharmacy systems and technology development priorities including budgeting and cost justification.

Worked with executive management and internal/external IT partners to set direction of of pharmacy technology development for 1700 retail pharmacy locations. Managed teams focused on maintenance and coordinated development of two different prescription dispensing systems. Direct oversight of budgeting and systems rollout for 1400 stores. Continued oversight of key areas of maintenance and development including; electronic prescribing; automation and robotics; IVR systems; HIPAA regulations; hardware approvals; NCPDP support for claims adjudication standards; systems integration to support MTM; software rollout/training; pharmacy label and monograph development

Worked with upper and executive management to set priorities in regards to pharmacy systems development for a 330 store pharmacy chain in the northeast. Areas of focus included: prescription dispensing system; IVR phone system; robotics and automation; pharmacy systems conversions; electronic prescribing; systems rollout and training.Worked closely with external partners to accomplish company goals in a timely, cost effective manner.Worked with IT partners to develop a state of the art prescription dispensing system. Managed direct reports and participated in systems QA testing, including integration into our third party accounting system. Coordinated rollout of the new pharmacy system with field management and several IT partners. Met daily with internal stakeholders and external partners to review and respond to all aspects of the ongoing rollout. Successful rollout to 330 stores was achieved.
