WeDo: Digital is a digital enterprise agency created in 2015. Blending my commercial background with my people leadership and management skills, I was hired to deliver the successful growth of the business through its people and people practices.

Responsible for driving all people and commercial aspects across a portfolio of retail stores in Europe, UK & Ireland. Achieved team stability and store profitability during a period of significant turbulence in the business, after a PE buyout in 2014.

Responsible for 75 stores, 5 Regional Managers, sales turnover of £36 million p.a. and headcount of 1,000. Responsible for leadership on sales, service, operational standards, all financials and people management. In March 2006, The Body Shop agreed to a £652.3 million takeover by L'Oréal. My role was pivotal in driving cultural change through the retail estate and adapting to new ways of working.

I was selected from 350 Store Managers to lead on the M&S Change Programme. This involved working with McKinsey Management Consultancy to review and re-design legacy operational processes, in order to deliver more efficient ways of working for stores. This programme saved the business £26 million with people engagement and change management being critical to its success; ensuring we took everyone with us on the journey.

Responsible for achieving £18 million sales target, leading a team of 9 departmental managers and 170 store employees.

Creation and management of Operating Plan budgets for M&S retail stores. Analysis of management information relating to sales, and operating costs.
