As a medical technologist at the Rapid Response Laboratory. Departments include: Urinalysis, Microbiology, Coagulation, Chemistry, Processing, Hematology, and at the Broken Arrow Hospital include Blood Bank (ABO, Rh, Direct Coombs, and Cross Match). Among other tasks, such as: Linearities and Correlations, CAP surveys, and Quality Control.

Receive and inspect evidence to be analyzed; maintain chain of custody; perform serological tests for the preliminary screening of evidence for the presence of blood, semen, saliva, urine, and feces; perform DNA analysis (extraction, Quantitation, Amplification, and Typing) of biological evidence and interpret the results; prepare and certify documentation of the results; provide expert witness testimony in trials; participate in the maintenance, quality control, and quality assurance programs of the lab. I supervised QAL-Microbiology Laboratory for Bactec Media and Sensor Area. Provide full support to manufacturing areas and implement and enhance laboratory testing such as: environmental monitoring, new equipment start up and validation processes related with equipment. Coordinate, hiring and staffing personnel, revised and reviewed Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) related to the area, and Validation Protocols. Provide training to direct reports and all staff.

I supervised Sampling Area and provide support during the Epogen Start-up. In addition, provide support during the Environmental, and Utilities monitoring. Coordinate, hiring, and staffing personnel, revised and reviewed Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) related to the Area, and Validation protocols. Coordinate sampling activities such as: environmental, utilities (water and gases) monitoring. Coordinate with Manufacturing personnel sample pick-ups. Provide training to direct reports and all staff. Provide support in operational procedures such as: Scheduler, Sampling Receiver/Collector.

. I oversaw purchasing, accounting, and management of a research laboratory. I organize, coordinate and prepare protocols and experiments for all the laboratory staff (18 people). I have established several research cores including: an electrophysiology and neuroendocrinology lab, a behavioral room, a radioimmunoassay room under the Safety Biohazard Regulations, and a molecular neurobiology core. Update all the licenses that are requested by the Division of Drug Enforcement, Fire Department and Health Department of Puerto Rico.
