Upon leaving school I worked in legal offices for some 15 years. I worked in the area of Family Law for 10 years where my role was more like a Legal Executive. I then trained as a Counsellor with Marriage Guidance/Relationship Services and was there for 10 years. For the next 10 years I managed a women's refuge and a domestic violence centre. Until recently, I was working with the ethnic community for 9 years as Clinical Supervisor of the Family Services Team.
