With a passion for providing quality care and service to the elderly and vulnerable populations, I pursued a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration from Saint Leo University. There, I learned the fundamentals of health care management, finance, ethics, and policy, which prepared me for a rewarding career as a Nursing Home Administrator.For over six years, I have led and managed long term care facilities, ensuring high standards of care and satisfaction for the residents and their families. Currently, I oversee the daily operations, staff, budget, and compliance of Peninsula Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, a 120-bed facility that offers skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and memory care services. I have a proven track record of improving quality measures, reducing agency dependence, and achieving deficiency-free surveys. For example, at HarbourWood Health & Rehab Center, I moved quality measures from 2 to 5 stars in nine months, and had seven focused infection control surveys in one year with no deficiencies. My core competencies include team building, public speaking, leadership, marketing, and human resources. I have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and I enjoy collaborating with various stakeholders, such as physicians, nurses, therapists, regulators, and vendors. I am also skilled in data analysis and financial analysis, which help me monitor and optimize the performance and profitability of the facilities. My goal is to continue to grow and learn as a health care executive, and to contribute to the improvement and innovation of the long term care industry.
