My goal is always to inspire, encourage, empower youth and women- in and through music.As a performer, I have worked as a touring musician, musical director, band leader, symphony orchestra, big band companies and musical theater globally. As a researcher, I have always aimed to promote the Cuban-Classical Piano repertoire, traditional and folk music, and the leadership of Afro-Cuban women's compositions, performing career and legacy. Cuban Pianist I Singer-Songwriter Glenda del E gives Cuban music a fresh new take with 
her exceptional musicality. She has built an impressive musical resume, including various competitions and awards, from Performances around the world with Alejandro Sanz, at Carnegie Hall, Dizzy’s Coca Cola Club with Paquito de Rivera Ensemble and Workshop, the ASCAP Foundation, COTTON CLUB NY, RBC Emerging Talent (Toronto Arts Council), Canada Arts Council, Ontario Arts Council, Royal Conservatory of Music, University of Toronto, and York University among others. Glenda del E (Q-ban Mixology Music Artist) was born and raised between what she describes as “the best of both worlds” in her native Havana, Cuba and a multi-cultural Toronto, Canada. Growing up in a musical home environment, she gained experience from a very young age and learned how important it is to be persistent and motivated from whom she admires the most-- her mother and father.Glenda began musical training at age 7 in Cuba's Music Conservatory Education System, and at the same time performing with her mother, singer Mireya Escalante and her band.
