In this role, I was responsible for leading key initiatives to drive operational performance and deliver best-in-class customer experience. This included developing and championing new launches and retail strategies, managing training programs, supporting talent management and development, executing nationwide events, and rolling out social media programs. I analyzed internal and external customer experience performance data and used that intel to provide actionable strategies for our team to improve.Some of my key accomplishments in this role have included: • Leading cosmetic retail COVID-19 pandemic response. This involved continually adapting Store Operating Standards for Cosmetics to comply with changing legislative standards and safety protocols. Given the significant impact to the beauty line of business, I worked quickly to roll out programs to allow customers to shop for beauty in a safer, remote manner, which helped recover millions in sales. • Substantial contributions to improve colleague social engagement. This includes managing social media program roll-out for our stores, which has resulted in a significant increase in active accounts, as well as being part of the recruitment, launch and day-to-day managing of the relationship between corporate and store level Shoppers Beauty Pro influencers. • Supporting roll-out and training for the new Mobile Clienteling and Virtual Selling for Store Associates program.• Championing community investment as a Community Investment Co-Lead

In this role, I analyzed retail store data for insights, and generated innovative solutions to alleviate store workloads and inefficiencies. I partnered with various stakeholders both regionally and at our corporate offices to help drive sales and customer satisfaction. Some of my key accomplishments in this role: • Created impactful employee learning programs that delivered business results. This included an Empathy Based Selling Skills eLearning, monthly training videos to support current marketing campaigns, and Makeup Artistry with instructor led training across the country. • Development of new metrics and KPIs for store Beauty teams, as well as sales reporting tools to gain the insights our team needed more efficiently. This new reporting tool saved an average of 7 hours per month of labour in each store, saving approximately 100,000 hours nationwide. • Implemented an internal social platform for store Beauty Managers to connect and share best practices.
