After working for 3 years in an office, both in Belgium and UK, I decided to try a more nomadic life in South America. At that point I already was working for 2 years for Exient, based in the UK. We were both happy to follow this new direction through and thus I became a remote freelancer.To fit this purpose I was refocused on Backend services instead and became in charge of developing cloud services for Exient's games using Golang, Docker, k8s, NodeJS and other relevant technology. On top of that it was also required to develop some client libraries, to allow our games to talk to our services, those have been written in Rust for the most part.The last 2 months, we also started to work with OpenAPI (Go-OpenAPI and Go-Swagger), after exploring options that could help and speed up the development process of our backend services.I also help out the UK based game teams with special requests, related to any technology they might need, as support for (the development of) the Exient games.

Over time I got disconnected from the day to day game development, and was refocused on R&D and internal tools.I worked on several games, written in C++ and C#. All games were mobile and F2P.
