This is easy. I have continually positioned myself to do what I love. And I am one of the fortunate ones who has been able to do just that.I have been able to work with some great people, as a professional and a volunteer. I have been part of two dynamic Design agencies in Edmonton, specializing in communications and web design, from the time when they were small and ambitious. These companies have grown and multiplied and become significant agents of design in Edmonton and beyond. I'm happy to have history with them both. I have had the great fortune of working for myself, managing client relationships and helping them achieve their goals through different design disciplines. I have been able to work from home, be with my kids more, and build key relationships with other professionals to help achieve my company goals. I am richer for this experience.I also give my heart and soul to the music industry in Alberta. I have done this in the past two decades through being in a touring band, owning a recording label, and promoting. More recently I have had the privilege of serving the industry through positions on the Board of Alberta Music, and the Edmonton Arts Council, the major funding body of arts organizations in our city. I've also served on juries for grants and awards from local music prizes, to the JUNOS. I am currently the Director for a "baby brand", partnering a startup-style agency with a media corporation. I get to build, learn, explore new paths, all while learning how to manage a team and make others better. It was the dream for this stage of life. So my experience and goals continue as before - grow my passions, do what I love, be the best I can be and serve those around me.
