I'm a marketing communications professional who has played an integral role in the launches and lives of several notable brands, as a senior ad agency account manager (Y&R and BBDO), a corporate marketing executive (American Express, GTE, KPMG and Lenovo) and currently as Content and Brand Management Team Leader at national law firm Wilson Elser. I also maintain my own consulting firm, Shift Key Communications, through which I generate content for other legal entities and coach high school seniors in theming/crafting their college admissions essays. I also collaborate with college students on their graduate school admissions essays. Basically, I write a lot.Career milestones: Oversaw creation and production of 33 "Do You Know Me?" commercials for American Express; led launches and re-launches of various DuPont consumer products; served on GTE Executive Committee; chaired committee that created Verizon name and logo upon GTE's 2000 merger with Bell Atlantic; led Creative Services Dept. at KPMG; guided global marketing strategy for Chinese multinational Lenovo upon its acquisition of IBM's Personal Computer Division; created virtually all content for Wilson Elser website and assorted content for other law firm websites; lectured at Hamilton College (aka "the finest school in the land"), NYU Stern School, MIT Sloan School, Columbia Business School; twice included in "Ad Age 50."Personal: Avid road cyclist, tennis and pickle ball player.
