Here, my focus was on enhancing patient care through innovative solutions in an enterprise-wide, Epic implementation. One of my proudest achievements was revolutionizing the MyChart Symptom Checker, empowering patients to describe their health concerns accurately and efficiently. I also took on a mentorship role, guiding a team of analysts to improve their technical skills and system understanding. Collaborating across departments, I ensured the successful implementation of Epic systems, contributing to a seamless patient experience.

Transitioning to Yale New Haven Health's Patient Access Team, I continued my journey in optimizing healthcare workflows. Here, I led projects to improve patient self-scheduling across 17 medical specialty clinics. By designing and implementing user-friendly eCheck-In systems, I aimed to simplify the patient journey. Educating staff on new workflows and providing comprehensive documentation, I facilitated a smooth transition to more efficient systems, enhancing patient access and overall satisfaction.

In this new role at Salem Health, I kept a watchful eye on the configuration, build, testing, and documentation of MyChart and Care Everywhere systems. My focus was on ensuring seamless integration and compliance with healthcare regulations. Leading the technical implementation of telehealth solutions, I expanded patient care capabilities. Mentoring colleagues and educating stakeholders, I played a pivotal role in advancing healthcare technology, improving patient outcomes, and supporting continuous professional development.

Joining the Revenue Cycle Team at Salem Health, I embraced the challenge of maintaining the integrity and security of electronic health records (EHR) systems. Leveraging Lean methodologies and ITIL fundamentals, I optimized processes to enhance incident resolution and system performance. By developing new procedures and training guides, I facilitated quicker problem-solving without compromising system functionality. Building strong relationships with external technology vendors, I ensured timely incident resolution and upgrades. Achieving Epic certifications in Deficiency Tracking, Release of Information, and Coding/Abstracting, I demonstrated a commitment to excellence. Recognized for my dedication with multiple awards, including "Role Model for Excellence," "Excellence Above & Beyond," and "Employee of the Month," within my first two years, I continue to drive innovation and efficiency in healthcare technology.
