Audio Engineer

Play Guitar & do sound.

Hired as either Front of House Engineer or Monitor Engineer for festivals, church recording sessions and or concerts, and various type of corporate events. Record events, biasing and aligning of tape machines, System EQ & Gain staging. Setting up mixes, patching effects and compressors and or gates. Load and unload equipment. Set-up and breakdown sound systems for front of house recordings, monitor mixes and various services as requested. Troubleshoot and correct equipment problems/audio system testing/ audio system maintenance. Operate all types of Sound Systems for Recorded and Live sound. Communicate with Event Promoters, National and Local Musicians, ministerial staff, and manufacturing companies. Survey venues for events and system installations. Provide direction for staff assistants. Oversee recording processes. Supervise and evaluate staff.

Do Sound

Provides Audio to National and Local Television and Radio Broadcasts. Responsibilities include Live and or recording mixing of worship services for taping purposes. Prepare broadcast tapes for radio stations. Mix direct to video and multi-track for post production work. Record voice-overs and edit music for Dance Ministries and Drill Teams. Supervise Ministry Partners (assistant audio engineers, recorders, and stage crew individuals) during worship services. Troubleshoot and correct sound system/equipment problems. Project manage for off site Church Conferences each year.

Play Guitar

/Synthesizer/Musical Director (MD) for The Chi-Lites Music Director/Lead Guitar/ Synthesizer for World Renowned International Performing Group - The Chi-LitesPerform as Lead Guitar and Synthesizer in the band. Set-up and conduct band rehearsals and sound checks at various venues prior to performances. Directs band during all rehearsals and performances. Audition musicians.
