I have 19 years’ experience working as a consulting engineer, focusing specifically on challenging building services projects. Each has had their own personality, either being technical in nature, fast tracked on program or targeting a high-performance building outcome. This includes a range of high performing sustainable buildings.I have been involved in such a wide range of projects; I can’t possibly cover them all here. In my time I’ve contributed to critical data centres, helped deliver new apartment precincts, designed some stunning hotels and worked to deliver some of Australia’s most energy efficient office space.My expertise is backed by detailed and extensive engineering knowledge across multiple disciplines. I understand how to run and manage a high-performance design team to get the most out of a project and deliver great client service along the way. I also enjoy working on sustainable / energy efficient projects as they align well with my ambitions to leave this world in a better place.In recent times I have also enjoyed participating in various industry groups aimed at reshaping our industry for the better. I also have a passion for training and developing younger team members – to see them grow into their full potential and then see them teach me a thing or two.After almost 19 years of being a consulting engineer for Stantec (formally Wood & Grieve Engineers) in the construction industry, I am choosing to now work with the Specialised Management Group team in the delivery of technical delivery of engineering services.
