My grandfather was an avid music fan, and my father is a very accomplished drummer…on his steering wheel. Music is my earliest memory and was mostly a hobby for a long time. After several years after college working in audio and video production (my undergraduate degree) I decided to pursue music as a career. As I collected instruments and learned music from around the world, I found myself performing, sometimes for thousands of people, on many and various stages at a wide range of venues. I have played (and still play) piano, drums, and bass in rock, jazz, folk, blues, etc. ensembles as well as various world instruments in both solo and in traditional music ensembles including West and South African, Greek and Turkish Traditional, Indonesian (Bali, Java) Gamelan, Indian “Fusion”, my “One Man World Music Looping Band”, etc. Decades of passionate musical experience have helped me become a well-rounded, versatile performer, and sharing music with others continues to be my favorite thing to do.
