-To lead the Night depot operation and manage a workforce of warehouse staff, drivers. yard shunters and sub contractors, whilst adhering and upholding company standards and Health and Safety regulations.-To oversee and manage the loading of 50+ routes daily and ensure all driver paperwork is prepped and correct ready to brief out all personnel each morning with their job for the day.-To de-brief returning drivers back to the depot, ensuring that all deliveries have been made as planned, paperwork has been completed and filed appropriately and route has been entered correctly in to the depot database.-To handle all holiday, pay and disciplinary queries, as well as any issues such as warehouse and driver staffing requirements and liasing with third party agencies and contractors.

-To recruit and interview newly registered Drivers in order to establish eligibility with regards to placing them in to ad hoc and on going driving positions across Harlow, Hoddesdon, Enfield and surrounding areas.-To ensure all workers remain compliant with EU driving and Working hours legislation keep up to date records for audit purposes.-To liaise with clients daily to ensure all driving requirements are met and the appropriate person is enlisted to complete the role in need of covering.-To attract new clients and introduce them to the CSR brand, highlighting what sets us apart from other Transport recruitment firms out there and negotiate short and long term opportunities between us.

* To supervise the efficient operation of the Transport Office and ensure all deliveries and recoveries are made in the agreed contractual window. * Recruiting, inducting, reviewing and supervising a total of 30+ employees, conducting assessments, issuing counselling and carrying out disciplinary hearings in line with company standards. * Ensuring the company fleet of vehicles are fully equipped, serviced and maintained as per VOSA regulations and legally compliant on the road with use of third party service providers and agents. * To complete all office based duties including payroll, staff training documentation and invoice processing for agency usage and vehicle hires. * To ensure the department is actively seeking more efficient running costs by way of re-scheduling staff timetables and re-routing customer deliveries. * To attend daily service circle meetings regarding the running of the depot and liaising with Centre of Excellence to ensure customer delivery standards are met within agreed windows and solutions are found for any problems which may arise unexpectedly.
