Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Attend project kickoff meeting with project manager. • Review project drawings and specifications to gain understanding of project scope. • Request, assemble and upload submittals as required by customer. Manage equipment/submittal list so PMs can easily find status. Maintain white board with list of equipment and expected ship date. • Inspect equipment and materials upon receipt for accuracy of order. Separate equipment upon arrival. • Issue purchase orders, contracts and change orders to vendors and subcontractors. • Request certificate of insurance as required by job. • Provide takeoffs to shop and purchase materials in a timely manner which supports the project schedule. • Pull permits and call in inspections. • Order and call off rental equipment. Maintain white board with list of equipment rentals. • Assemble project manuals for foreman to include drawings, submittals, list of subcontractors, etc. • Coordinate material deliveries to job site. Create load lists to be provided to shop in a timely manner to facilitate timely delivery. • Assemble list of all gas and hydronic piping and fittings, condensate drains, diffusers, flex, and installation materials required for the project to include size and materials of construction. Purchase materials and coordinate delivery to the jobsite with the PM. • Respond to customers and PMs in a timely manner. Reply to all emails quickly to acknowledge receipt and understanding. Provide updates as appropriate. Be responsive and over-communicate. • Upload equipment submittals, drawings, IOMs, and necessary information into the BuildingStart program for construction services.• Assemble O&M manual and other closeout documentation.
