Employed by Argenta originally as Company Accountant and subsequently promoted as the business grew from 75 NZ based staff to 450 globally. Member of the Global Executive team leading the development and execution of the 10-year plan and strategy. Management and delivery of audited financial statements (IFRS) with no audit findings. Led the Finance & IT teams in the purchase and integration of 3 overseas acquisitions. Oversight of the IT strategy including implementing various initiatives and business tools.Key Accountabilities include:• Provide Board and Executive team with accurate and timely financial and management information for the Argenta Group;• Prepare monthly Board reports and KPI’s and provide insight to financial performance and financial position including key ratios;• Support to the Board with capital raising and due diligence process with acquisitions;• Group consolidations, IFRS, Company Secretarial functions;• Ensure the Group complies with all relevant statutory, regulatory and industry standards and requirements and set group policies and internal control processes accordingly;

Held this role at Nufarm through a period of change including the sale of seven substantial business operations. Led the preparation of financial forecasts and provided commercial expertise for these acquisitions. Made significant changes to the systems, processes and people to reduce monthly reporting timeframes and personnel. Completed an assignment based at Nufarm Corporate office in Adelaide to manage and rebuild the accounting system and covered for the Financial Controllers role whilst he was on secondment.Key Accountabilities included:• Overseeing all aspects of financial control in the business;• Providing financial, commercial and strategic support to the business;• Preparation of management information form source data;• Producing monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts;• Developing, managing and motivating a team of finance professionals.
