Set up new department and overcame reliability issues.2003 moved to PM13 as Plant Engineer this was the older machine [1950's] this again suffered from reliability issues which again were overcome producing record tonnages.2010 moved to PM14 during company restructure as Engineering Superintendent and again during another restructure Area Engineer 2013. This machine although when built had been the biggest fastest newsprint machine again was suffering with reliability issues [breakdowns/breaks]. Due to a hard slog with a team that I have been proud to work with we had begun to turn this around. Reliabilty was greatly improved and we were having sustained runs with no breaks. As of this morning when the gates were closed we were 711t up on budget tonnage for the month unheard of in the recent history of the mill.Heart breaking that such effort from a great team has been lost Show less
