The company has been operating for the past 13 years.During my 30 years I was employed as a Coal Mine Worker, Deputy and Undermanager.I have been operating machinery and equipment in all areas of the coal mining industry.Underground Areas:Production areas such as Development, Longwall and outbye areas. As a Deputy I was in charge of production crews for Development and Longwall panels. Holding a statutory position as a Deputy showed me the importance about being a very strong safety conscious..Under Manager meant that I will have a lot more responsibility for not only for the shift but for the whole of the mine site.Opencut:Production in Pre-Strip, Mining, Post Mining, CHPP and Workshop. In the production areas.I held a position as a Crew Development Coordinator. Developing SOP,SWI and Training material. Mentoring the Mobile Equipment Operators and conducting professional development for the operators. Supervising contracting company on site. Conducting Simulator Training for new and experienced Coal Mine Workers..Held other positions as a Safety Advisor, Training Coordinator, Training Manager, RTOManager and Apprenticeship Master. I have been a Mines Rescue Member for several years as I competed against other Mine Rescue Teams throughout Australia. I have been to 8 National Titles either as a team competing member or an Assessor.I have been involved in training since 1990. I have been training coal mine workers on various types of machinery and equipment.The company also operates an Auditing,Safety Advising and ICAM Investigation business.. I have been involved in high level Risk Assessment which I have facilitated. I have beenConducting a range of Risk Assessment such as Broad brush, (WRAC) Workplace Risk Assessment and Controls, Bowtie and Fault Tree Analysis.Developing Confined Space registers for all confined Space areas.
