I began my career with Quality Counts as a manager-in-training in Fort Lauderdale, having recently graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Management degree. Most of the initial work was learning everything there was to know regarding our data collection services, methods of deployment, and a lot of fieldwork. Within a short period of time, I relocated to Tampa to become the local Operations Manager and begin my career managing projects and day-to-day operations. For more than 10 years, I served as the Senior Operations Manager for the Florida market, as well as a company shareholder. Within this role, I served as the main contact for any project-related requests or teaming opportunities. My main responsibility, and the part of my job I most enjoyed, was working closely with clients and making sure that their project needs were met as accurately and timely as possible. Over the course of my career, I personally managed several annual count programs for municipalities across Florida. I have also managed data collection task orders of various sizes and complexities through several city-wide or county-wide general planning/engineering contracts, as well as district-wide contracts for FDOT in several districts. Frequently, opportunities included specialized projects where new approaches and dynamic methods had to be considered and developed in order to complete tasks. Technology is a big part of the industry. I have become proficient in many technologies over the years including video cameras, radar units, bluetooth readers, drones, and automated systems. I look forward to continuing to work and grow in the transportation engineering and planning industry. I am willing to do anything I can to help.
