Responsible for the safe unloading of petroleum railcars into bulk storage tanks. Facility under construction during tenure. Hire, train and supervise employees to facilitate the unloading process. Ensure compliance with rail and dangerous goods regulations.

Responsible for the day to day operation of Safe delivery of petroleum products to service stations and bulk storage facilities. Manage professional drivers including recruitment,training,performance monitoring, discipline and coaching to achieve a high standard of customer service and safe operation of equipment. Work closely with dispatch, repair facilities and customers to ensure timely deliveries and respond to customer needs. First response to accident, incident scenes, and timely reporting to all agencies required. Perform and prepare all health,safety and performance audits as required including Certificate of Recognition, Partners in Compliance and various customer performance / health and safety audits. Work with drivers and internal staff to ensure proper handling and documentation of dangerous goods in accordance with regulations. Complete customer facility visitations to ensure compliance with regulations and safe working conditions for driving staff. Ensure,train and monitor employee use of personal protective equipment and compliance with safe work standards. Develop and maintain emergency response plans, hazard and risk assessments as required.
