• Implemented PeopleSoft ERP Financials and HRMS modules. Established technical environment consisting of 3-tier PeopleSoft, Oracle, Citrix and AIX. Coordinated applications, operations, call-center/helpdesk, software desktop deployment, and technical support to meet project and business requirements • Developed detailed disaster recovery and data security plans. These plans were successfully tested and refined at offsite SunGard testing and recovery facilities• Provided merger/acquisition IT support relocating a newly acquired Canadian division. Duties included understanding business processes and application workflows, data center requirements, security, networking, batch and online transactions processing • Evaluated, selected and implemented software tools to assist in rapid application development, decision support systems, data-center automation, business continuity planning, and WLAN and enterprise report distribution systems. • Performed direct hands-on capacity planning, software maintenance and new product installations, upgrades and support across all IBM mainframes(z/OS), JCL, SMPE, TSO/ISPF,JES2, Utilities, IPCS,SAS, CICS, MQ, COBOL, DB2, AIX and HP systems• Served on enterprise IT council to develop corporate quality standards and employ best practices. Also managed the IT continuous improvement program (TQM). In addition, established a technology Lunch and Learn program and finally received an IT award for Innovation Quality and Service
