• Responsible for co-ordinating the internal and external audit programmes for all Noble Foods sites (40 sites) in line with the requirements for ISO 14001. Conducting internal HS&E audits on a wide variety of sites. • Responsible for ensuring environmental compliance for 15 Part A Permitted Sites to include liaising with the EA, SEPA, NRW. Completion of reports and reviews required by the environmental permits.• Providing support for external audits completed by regulators and assurance bodies at permitted sites. • Completing environmental permit applications, surrenders and variations as the required by the business. • Responsible for the completion of annual reports to include environmental permitting returns, pollution inventory returns, packaging waste returns, climate change agreement data.• Providing environmental projects for review by Senior Management to decrease the environmental impact of the company’s operations. Advice given on setting environmental objectives and targets for the individual divisions and group to encourage improvement of environmental performance.• Responsible for the continual improvement and maintenance of the Environmental Management System.• Providing the Noble Foods Ltd group with updates in environmental legislation and advice to support and assist site management.• Completing environmental training when required to include spill response and environmental permitting training.• Attending HS&E meetings and Senior Management review meetings as necessary to provide support to Green champions and Divisional HS&E Advisors.

• Responsible for the maintenance and development of the Environmental, Health and Safety Management System across three manufacturing sites. • Providing advice and support to Senior Management and Departmental Management on EHS related issues. • Setting and achieving objectives and targets with Senior Management to improve the environmental performance of the company. Achieving two Environmental awards in 2012 (Green Apple and EEF) for initiatives driven forward by H, S and E dept. • Responsible for ensuring the development of risk assessments (Fire, Machinery, COSHH, Manual Handling etc), emergency action plans and EHS procedures.
