Responsible for strategic direction and execution of Ocwen's 100+ person Global Enterprise Infrastrcture team that includes Server, Network, Storage, Data Backup, Database, Data Center, Messaging, Telephony and Monitoring support teams.- Leading effort to separate infrastructure services from managed service provider- Building global cross-functional internal IT team in US, India and Philippines..- Relocated to Pune, India to build offshore Infrastructure support team.- Lead effort to migrate Ocwen data center operations into new, higher performance, best-in-class facilities.- Created brand new $20M+ infrastructure environment; designing architecture, negotiating vendor contracts and solicting approvals for senior leadership.- Responsible for P&L of infrastructure operations.- interacts with Senior leadership and reports to head of Enterprise Technology / functional CTO

Evaluates and integrates new operating system versions, drivers and hardware. Provides technical expertise for system transitions, migrations and consolidations. In-depth disciplinary knowledge; leverages business acumen and subject matter expertise. Work is guided by business plans for the discipline.Acts as a subject matter expert in the design, architecture and deployment of new systems to keep the server environment stable and interruptions to a minimum in standalone and multi-tiered environments.

Data Center Migrations and Transition of Services

Responsibilities included planning and coordination of the all technical aspects of the GCCS-M submarine program. Other duties included the interfacing with all other programs that were connecting to the system including the information security involved with connection to a high security systems.

Developed and managed a team of personnel that conducted assists, grooms, and installs on systems, both NT and Windows 200X.Managed the Pier Connectivity project; was one of the first Naval bases to connect the Submarines to the Niprnet (Internet) and Siprnet (Classified Internet)—This required the preparation of servers, switches, and routers for IP traffic.Supported the shipboard networks, which included the troubleshooting of numerous connection problems, requiring extensive knowledge of e-mail, Exchange, proxy, DNS, TCP/IP, router encapsulation, ACLs, IOS, and router configuration changes to keep the ships operating and connected; assisted on many different systems’ user account management (UNIX, Windows—all types, and Linux), routers and switches, including group policy managementAssisted various submarines with their backups, scheduling, and configurations—If failures occurred, helped restore the data on their server or servers—UNIX (HP 9.07/10.2), Windows (NT4/W2K), including Exchange.
