Air Force Pharmacy Market lead, directed the execution of a $9.7 billion worldwide pharmacy program consisting of 773 military pharmacies, and a network of 56,142 retail pharmacies, delivering 125 million scripts to 7.1 million beneficiaries annually. Merged three corporate cultures under unified headquarters function, created 1st-ever standardized care delivery processes and centralized operational funding, manpower allocation, and contract management.

Directed all pharmacy operations at outpatient clinics, ambulatory surgery centers, and hospitals. Led formulary management and Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committees to authorize disease management clinics. Integrated VA/DoD Diabetes Guidelines to manage hypertension, heart disease and diabetes population health. Launched enterprise-wide pharmacy non-formulary drug management pilot, an embedded managed-care clinical pharmacist in primary care clinics, and a medication renewal program realizing resource efficiencies while strengthening preventive care. Programs were adopted as Air Force benchmarks. Recognized and awarded the Society of Air Force Pharmacy’s Clinical Pharmacist of the Year (2008) and Air Force District of Washington’s Biomedical Sciences Corps Field Grade Officer of the Year (2014). Winner of Emerald Coast People’s Choice Silver Award for pharmacy services.

Commanded Central Command’s rapid deployment assets including the mobile surgical and critical care teams. Established collaborative partnerships with country’s civilian healthcare senior executive leadership while directing population health initiatives targeting improvements in patient outcomes. Launched direct access physical therapy initiative that recouped 2,500 patient appointments annually. Drove appointment utilization up 30% while increasing primary care access by 10%. Led inpatient and outpatient hospital clinical services with 19,200 annual appointments, maintained public health, immunizations, emergency room and response services, in addition to population hazardous exposure mitigation. Garnered two-time first-ever organization's safety team award wins.

Oversaw six Air Force pharmacy operations in the National Capital Region (NCR) and ensured integration and standardization of processes and procedures across 38 pharmacy locations. Developed and mentored 130 junior officers and enlisted while ensuring integration of pharmacy services with other Armed Services’ pharmacy operations. Optimized delivery of 400,000 prescriptions annually and analyzed NCR market data for trends and opportunities. Centralized non-formulary approvals that increased compliance and standardization across the NCR and saved 15 man-hours per week. Resolved significant patient wait time concern with 1st-ever Air Force approved pharmacy self check-in kiosk that reduced patient wait time 80%. Recognized as a Defense Health Agency Pharmacy Operations Division best practice.
