    I am currently the Airport Engineering Principal for the Reading based Aviation Team, recent project experience has include; British Virgin Islands, Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport Runway Rehabilitation Project. Jacobs was commissioned as Technical Consultants and Project Manager for the resurfacing of the runway. For the Design and Tender Administration I was Project Principal, providing technical direction and oversight in the preparation of the design and of the tender and contract documentation. I was responsible for ensuring the appropriateness of the design solutions being developed and the robustness of the tender and contract data being provided. Following award of the Contract I was the Employers Engineer for the FIDIC Construction Contract, responsible for the oversight of the daily contract administration and construction monitoring; approval of Contractors Health & Safety, Quality and materials submissions; approval of monthly accounts, assessment and agreement of contractual matters including delays and specification deviations and the acceptance of the completed works. Project Level Technical Lead for the Gatwick Airport Project Genesis RIBA 2 Design. The project is to enhance airfield capacity by enabling dual-runway operations to enable take-off by Code C aircraft in parallel with landings and take-offs on the existing Main Runway. To facilitate the optimisation of the runways, significant airfield wide infrastructure developments and modifications are necessary comprising a number of disparate elements, each of which ordinarily would be an individual project. I am responsible for the overarching technical leadership of the design team, requiring, co-ordination and integration of the multi-disciplinary design team that includes Airport Planners, Pavement Engineers, AGL Specialists, MEP Engineers and Flood Study Consultants who are delivering these elements as a complete project.

I provided the principal technical interface with the Client for delivery of the study while also providing the technical direction for the multi-disciplinary aviation team who were located at numerous Jacobs offices. While developing and refining the preferred geometric solution I was also responsible for identifying and mitigating interface issues at the project periphery for resolution at later project phases.Melbourne Airport, Design Manager for the Scheme & Detailed Design Stage of the A$475 million Taxiway Zulu & T2T Aprons Project, a consolidation of the Taxiway Zulu Program and T2T Apron Project that allow the expansion of the International Terminal and associated aprons at Melbourne Airport, Australia. Drawing upon my significant aviation expertise I led the stakeholder consultation and scheme design development for the project, delivering to an extremely challenging programme. In addition to the Melbourne Taxiway Zulu & T2T Aprons Project I have provided technical oversight and direction for a diverse range of airfield engineering projects being executed within the Aviation team, examples include Heathrow Airport, Taxiway Sierra A Upgrade Project and Aircraft De-icing Facilities Project both of which are part of the current Heathrow 5 year (Q6) Resilience Programme that ensures that Heathrow has the capability to meet current and future demands both through aircraft type and capacity.
