I'm a professional driver with 13+ years experience commercially. I love running/managing my mobile fuel locations. I love interacting face to face with my drivers, clients, vendors, etc. I think the personal relationship builds a better rapport. I’m responsible for day to day operations of 2 locations with 7 drivers and 5 trucks. I make and manage the schedules for both locations. I get to have a variety of things to get done and everyday is different. One day I may be helping a driver on a route. Another day I may be checking out a new clients location and truck route ensuring it's safe and accessible to my drivers. I may load trucks at the fuel terminal another day to have the trucks ready for when my drivers start their shift.I may travel to my 2nd location to handle some light maintenance on my trucks another day. I also get to help my drivers with issues that may come up with fueling vehicles, scheduling vacation time/PTO. I may have to handle a last second problem that requires me to go check inventory. I coordinate all maintenance and work needed done on my trucks including fire extinguisher inspections, preventative maintenance/PM's, emergency repairs, tank tests, etc. I make sure all orders are entered for the drivers. I interact with clients and meet with them when necessary. I also prospect potential clients for my locations for our sales department using different methods. Since I am the eyes and ears for my locations I can send them valuable prospect lists that may really help the company.Good customer service is paramount to any job function or position. I love solving problems that may come up. I may train new employees or help launch a new location for another region in the company. I have years of experience training dozens of individuals of all ages and backgrounds in different job functions from fast food, customer service, security and fleet fueling/mobile fueling. I enjoy being in a leadership role for my locations. Making sure my drivers are happy and the company is happy and thriving is what I strive for.My ultimate goal is to move into management and acquire more skills to make myself more valuable and help the company to keep moving forward by guiding and training the next group of people that want to join us and make this company even better.I want to interact with people in my field and like minded thinkers.
