In 2011, completed end-to-end assessment and redesign of the Procurement organization as well as its programs, management reporting and policies. Initiated a series of 10 expense reduction work streams reducing expenses by $70 million.

Complete oversight of internal and external reporting (includng 10-Q's and 10-K's) and planning for TIAA's Asset Management business with $1.4 billion in revenue totaling 1,000 employees.

 Responsible for budgeting, forecasting, metrics, pricing and management reporting for all TIAA-CREF products including Pension, Tuition Savings, Mutual Funds, Insurance, Brokerage, After-tax Annuity, Individual and Institutional Trust and IRA. Responsible for business financial analysis which included new product support, financial modeling/CBA analysis, project analysis, and customer segment reporting. Responsible for 2004 and 2005 SAS 70 reports which received unqualified opinions from Ernst & Young (2004) and PwC (2005), respectively. The SAS 70 report covered the Pension products operation for qualified defined contribution retirement plan which had over 100 participants subject to ERISA. Responsible for a staff of 35 employees located in New York and North Carolina

 The CFO oversaw the complete function and administration of a diverse management staff in the areas of Finance, Operations, Information Systems, and Facilities Management activities. Worked closely with CEO and led other members of the CEO’s management team in developing and implementing the company’s financial and strategic goals and objectives. Chairman of the Investment Committee and oversight of Investment Advisory Services as well as evaluation/review of the Investment Manager’s Investment Performance. Responsible for approval and selection of Investment Management firms. Preparation, oversight and approval of the quarterly and annual state reports in compliance with The State of New Jersey. Considerable experience in successful rate negotiation/reimbursement rates with the State of New Jersey. Negotiated major hospital, ancillary and physician contracts resulting in increased savings each year. Responsible for all financial communication and presentation to The Board of Directors. Responsible for financial feasibility/economic evaluation, due diligence and final recommendation on all acquisitions. During my tenure, the company had successfully completed three acquisitions, increasing its membership by 85,000.
