Humber Oil Refinery P66

My Current role is a Rail Operator at Phillips66's Rail Loading Facility, I have undergone my P66 TPO training which covers basic Operators training. As a Rail Operator I work 12 hour shifts. As I have completed my training with Phillips 66 I am able to undergo all aspects of an Operator. This entails loading final products the refinery has produced into railcars, which are then dispatched across the country, driving the locomotive with empty/full railcars through the rail yard and down loading bays to their designated track, and also to conduct shunting operations which involves controlling all movements of the locomotive whilst outside on the ground. Furthermore I undergo an operator walk round every shift in order to make sure all areas of the facility are in working order i.e. no leaks, all valves in the incorrect position, this also involves taking readings of several pieces of equipment which includes pressure ,temperature and levels. Another responsibility is to be able to undergo minor mechanical maintenance jobs in order to keep equipment running correctly.

Lindsey Oil Refinery

January 2011 to January 2018 – Maintenance planner/ QA• My current role is a Maintenance / Piping Planner at Total’s U.K’s Lindsey Oil Refinery• Working closely with both Engineering and Operations departments,• My Duties include. Attend daily meetings with operations discuss new notifications and set end dates to plan towards Visit site to scope jobs to identify all aspects involved within the job ie. Scaffolding, Lagging , cranage , rigging , hot work , cold work ect. Processing work notifications into work orders. Produce Quality Assurance (Q.A.) work packs to issue to supervision and tradesmen, this includes job description, job location, as built drg, line classification, P&ID drg, inspection systems sketch, material take off & welding consumables, NDT requests, hydrotest request form. Liaise with S.I.O.P.E. team (safe isolation of plant & equipment) to discuss isolation boundaries, blinding & testing points. Produce photograph & job description to multi service trades to obtain man hours to input into SAP. Job step work orders in SAP & input man hours. Liaise with schedulers to create weekly work schedules to meet job deadlines. Produce Risk Assessments. Submit work permits using Total’s ATI Program. Cover other zone planners when required (holiday & sick cover)

My role with Doosan was exactly the same as with Jacobs,apart from my role sometimes consisted of Supervising Multi Disciplined Workforce while supervisors had there holidays.

Initially employed as a Piping Technician achieving promotion to Piping Supervisor in June 1998. I gained considerable knoledge and experience of all process units at LOR. I also gained experience in all types of oil & gas pipework e.g. Jacketed pipework,Instrument Swagelok pipework,Lokring systems,large bore crude import lines & flare headers,Heater tubes,Acid piping systems and all types of hydrocarbon & utility pipework.Welding procedure specifications.Material take off (pipe,valves,fittings) direct purchase orders.Hydrogen bake outs,Pre Heat & Post Heat Specifications.Maintenance,shutdown & project work.Hydrostatic tests,various mediums,temperatures & pressures.Hot tap drilling.The use of Breathing apparatus & North mask.Overhauling equipment i.e. Exchangers,Gate valves,Globe valves,Gauge Glasses,removal of Pressure Safety Valves,ectExperienced in various piping materials include.A106/API 5L Carbon steels for general hydrocarbon process's.1 1/4% -9% Chrome alloys for high temp corrosive systems.300 Series stainless steels.High nickel alloys e.g Monel 400 for hydrofluric acid.Trained in SAP & Permit to Work Systems.
