Perth Gateway Project

Work as a supervisor for the Gateway Project Perth - Traffic Central Zone, responsible for the traffic management of major road switches, construction works, signage works, line marking & line removal, and barrier install & barrier removal. Maintain constant communication with construction teams, so when traffic sent up is in place make them aware that it is safe to start work. Ensure construction teams are aware of traffic deadline restrictions so works are not impacting the road user. Work collaboratively with engineers in planning of all works and conducting surveys for all works. Conduct Safety Inspection Cascade, LPI and TSTO to ensure the safety and the quality of all work. Organise and conduct daily prestart on site with work crews and record daily allocation activities for labour. Review and sign off SHEWMS prior to commencement of specific work activities. Report regularly to the General Superintendent on project performance against company objectives.― Promoted GWA Safety standards, Policy and Procedures and ensured compliance within work crews and supervision― Coached, managed and monitored performance of employees while ensuring adherence of work practices to correct procedures and standards for safety and environmental performance― Assisted in co-ordinating logistics of plant and materials to help meet deadlines and targets― Established and maintained strong working relationships with client and other contractors

Barrow Island

Served as a supervisor and acting senior supervisor for The Gorgon Project on Barrow Island - Train 1 of LNG Plant, carrying out a variety of functions including earth works, insitu works, concrete paving, piping and precast works. Administered daily hazard hunts onsite and reviewed workers Take 6’s. Conducted performance review and assessment as well as the analysis of production methods of the staff and employees. Active involvement with LPI and TSTO reporting to maintain forward momentum for the project. Present weekly Toolbox HR/ER meetings for work group and daily morning meeting with Supervisors and Leading hands for the allocation of Plant, Labour and Crane crews as per level 5 program for Piping.
