As the Athletic Coordinator at West Island College (WIC), I oversee the development and implementation of the athletic program, which includes coaching, scheduling, budgeting, and organizing events and tournaments. I have been in this role since June 2022, after teaching physical education at WIC for over 20 years.My mission is to promote physical education and sports as a way of enhancing the health, well-being, and academic success of the students. I also aim to foster a culture of teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship among the staff and the students. I have a background in health and physical education from McGill University, and I am a certified teacher in Quebec. I am fluent in English and French, and I have skills in classroom management, educational technology, and event planning. I am passionate about basketball, and I am also a director at the Trevor Williams basketball academy, where I mentor and train young athletes.
