Day to day running of busy Transport OfficeCommunicating with customers & drivers to ensure deliveries are carried out effectively and at the desired pre-arranged times.Supplying a detailed driver's debrief at the end of their shift including Tachograph scanning (digital & analogue) for analysis and infringement reporting.Ensuring good communication with onsite workshop and outside contractors to deal swiftly with vehicle breakdowns, punctures and scheduled servicing.Monitoring staff lists to ensure there is the required amount of delivery drivers and/or driver's mates to cope with varying workloads at any given time by way of closely communicating with recruitment agencies during busy periods.Route planning & working closely with warehouse staff with regards to vehicle load sizes and changes. Recording daily vehicle mileage readings & fuel consumption.Generally supporting the Transport & Depot Managers to provide necessary information reports.
