As previous police detective and prosecutor of 24 years, I thrive one the demands and pressures of a highly intensive position that is compatible in a team environment and working with partners to achieve desirable outcomes. I have developed a set of skills, knowledge and experience which will always be a valuable asset for the many variable roles I engage in. When I undertake new challenges I seek to not just tick boxes but to excel. Personally, I have fostered a strong supportive, loving family environment and a professional and respectful work environment.In expanding my skillset I am continuously looking to become a leader in the my roles which I present with pride. I further develop my strategies with leading and equipping the people that I interact with enabling them to fulfil their potential.Putting the right people in the right positions is the paramount consideration for success. I truly believe that I am the right person to demonstrate the core values of success while improving capability and enhancing performance of my team. I base this on my skillset, experience and state of mind. I am enthusiastic and excited about taking any opportunity to increase my capability.I lead and equip the people that I interact with and meet non adjustable deadlines. I routinely set clear and realistic expectations for staff and what they need to do to be high performing. I have identified that this requires a breaking down of barriers from my workgroup to other work groups. I excel at creating fantastic working relationships with both internal and community partners. I dealt with community partners on a daily basis as a police representative and behave like that they are as much my work colleagues as those I work with in my immediate office. Professionalism, integrity and respect is non-negotiable. Having this state of mind is critical.To be able to operate in a sustainable work environment it was necessity for me to respond positively to individual differences. My reasoning is to focus on the solution not the problem while removing barriers. Early Identification of potential hazards, conflicts or problems, whilst focusing on the solution is a key to success.
