I grew up in a small farming community in the Arkansas delta. There I learned the value of hard work, self-reliance and humility. Yearning for adventure, I eventually joined the Air Force where I had the honor of serving my country for 20 years. The Air Force taught me many things; the greatest of all were the value of diversity, teamwork and loyalty. I learned to be a good follower before becoming a good leader myself. This is where I also gained strong management skills. I met my wife early in my Air Force career and we have raised two daughters together. My passion for technology started with my first personal computer. As I taught myself to use, upgrade and fix that computer, I became the "expert" all my friends and relatives would come to for advice and repairs. I knew Information Technology would be my next career once I left the military and worked towards that goal by obtaining many industry recognized certifications. Technology comes easy for me and sometimes I wonder if it chose me; more so than me choosing it. I have more than 16 years in IT support across several different industries.
