Experimental particle physicist, lecturer and science communicator.Frontier research on international experiments including fixed target photoproduction at NINA and SPS synchrotrons, precision electroweak measurements at the Large Electron Positron Collider (LEP) and matter-antimatter asymmetries at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). Part of the management team which developed the UK component of the worldwide LHC Computing Grid (wLCG). Now, I hold the position of Honorary Scientist at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory near to Oxford.Experience of industrial liaison through role as South East Physics Network (SEPnet) Employer Engagement Coordinator at the University of Southampton.Visiting Professor in the School of Mathematics and Physics at the University of Portsmouth where I lecture on undergraduate modules. Also, post-graduate MSc tutor and supervisor in the Faculty of Technology at Portsmouth.Associate Lecturer/Tutor with the Open University teaching undergraduate physics modules and postgraduate research skills.Experienced science communicator undertaking regular outreach activity (public talks, science cafes, lifelong learning courses, masterclasses, guest cruise lecturer, etc.).
