As a research scientist in Global Health Outcomes I have conceptualized and led research projects for Health Outcomes and consulted on the design, measurement, and analysis of randomized clinical trials. I have worked across all phases of drug development and led the move of Global Health Outcomes into the early phases of drug development in the neuroscience area. I have worked with clinical, strategy, regulatory, and marketing colleagues representing the unique needs of health outcomes in various drug development efforts. Throughout my experiences at Lilly I have worked closely with brand management to ascertain that our research was understood and used appropriately.

Served as a psychology intern taking responsibility for direct patient care in a variety of settings from long-term hospitalization to outpatient therapy. I worked as a staff psychologist under the direct supervision of licensed clinical psychologist to gain experience in the profession of clinical psychology.

Between my undergraduate and graduate school I worked in several psychiatric hospitals in and around Atlanta, GA. I worked as a psychiatric technician with day to day contact with psychiatric patients and conducted emergency room assessments to determine appropriate disposition for patients. This experience has proved invaluable to my understanding of psychiatry and the needs and treatment of patients diagnosed with a variety of mental illnesses.
