The position is based at one of Auckland's longest-running iconic music venues, The Powerstation, located on Mt Eden Rd, Auckland central.My responsibilities are varied, ranging from the service and repair of air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, and building repairs.I work side by side with the owner of the venue, and between the two of us, plan and execute required maintenance and all repairs.One day I may be retrofitting a walk in chiller, or pulling a bottle crushing machine apart for general maintenance, the next day can see me installing sound insulation, preparing / resealing slate flooring, or building staging platforms and wiring up electrical fittings.

As Auckland City Council's No.1 building services contractor, my role in Ventia NZ's vast skill sets, I am tasked with the responsibility of maintenance and service of the HVAC equipment in every council building (pools, gyms, crechés, admin etc) from Howick to Orewa.
