I work at the intersection of financial analysis and regulatory framework investigation on behalf of the Dispute Advisory Practice at FTI Consulting.I hold a PhD in Religious Studies from Boston College. As a professor at Misericordia University I was recognized for exceptional teaching, mentoring, and research, and was promoted to Associate Professor by the university's Board of Trustees in February, 2021. During my academic career, I was elected by my faculty as the chair of the salary and benefits committee for four years in a row.Earlier, at the New England Journal of Medicine, I worked as a communications liaison between editors and layout artists. I especially enjoy roles that allow me to use team awareness and positivity to improve execution. I'm an optimist. I'm quietly driven. I enjoy connecting to others. In my spare time, I read widely in history, poetry, and religious traditions. I play basketball and I run distance races. I have volunteered in Tennessee, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania prisons. During the first year of the Covid-19 pandemic, I served as a hospice counselor at Compassus Hospice in Fort Washington, PA.
