Mr. Scott has focused his career on managing enhanced cash and short-term fixed income portfolios for governmental clients. He was appointed lead Portfolio Manager for CSAFE, a Local Government Investment Pool, in May of 2010. Mr. Scott also serves as portfolio manager on individually managed, local government accounts in Colorado, Florida, Kansas, Washington, and Montana. Prior to joining Davidson Fixed Income Management, Mr. Scott served as Finance Officer for Jefferson County, Colorado and as a member of the Colorado House of Representatives. He served as Chairman of the Local Government Committee and member of the Finance, Audit, and Appropriations Committees. Mr. Scott led training missions in Indonesia (provincial officials in Bali) and Iraq (senior staff of the Iraqi Presidency Council) with IRI/USAID as well as other democracy building projects.
