Stout also wrote a monthly column for Boston Baseball, served as baseball analyst for WBUR-FM and has published in publications such as The New York Observer, ESPN.com, Runner’s World, The Sporting News, USA Today’s Baseball Weekly, Baseball America, Sports Illustrated, and Boston Magazine, made numerous television and radio appearances on NPR, HBO, CNN, ESPN and other outlets.
