Yarra Trams operates Melbourne's Tram Network which is the largest tram network in the world consisting of 500 trams, 26 routes and more than 200 million passenger trips completed annually.In the role of Director, Operational Control and Management Systems I lead 80+ personnel Information and Operational Technology (IT/OT) departments including IT Infrastructure, Control Systems, IT PMO, Applications Service Delivery, Cyber Security and Strategy and Architecture teams to ensure our people and assets support the safe delivery of tram services for the travelling Melbourne public.

Together we successfully delivered the first 3 years of the MR4 Tram Franchise IT program including Infrastructure hardening, SAP Success Factors implementation, Cyber SOC/SIEM, Time and Attendance systems and Asset Renewals.

Port Botany Redevelopment Project was a $400m project to expand, redevelop and automate Patrick’s Port Botany container terminal in order to dramatically improve safety, productivity and capacity. Patrick had previously developed automated straddle carriers in its new Fisherman Islands terminal in Brisbane. At Port Botany, the project was on a brownfield, operational site, incorporating new buildings, civil pavements and road works, IT systems, automated container handling equipment and change management.Reporting to the IT & Automation Manager, I was responsible for the IT integration of the new Automation Systems into Patrick Enterprise Applications.

Asciano's acquisition Newcastle-based logistics company Mountain Industries was part of its strategy of further developing the capabilities of its Ports & Stevedoring division and deepening its existing footprint in strategic locations on Australia's east coast.My role on this project included the comprehensive IT Integration of Mountain Industries IT department successfully onto Asciano's IT platforms including servers, networks, enterprise applications and a full ERP migration.

The Business Enterprise Asset Management (BEAM) program was the introduction of Maximo into Pacific National. The program included end to end redevelopment of business processes including supply chain, inventory management, maintenance regimes, fuel management and overall asset management practices based on PAS55.Reporting to the Project Director, my Solution Architecture role consisted of leading requirements and design phases. I authored solution architecture design, business process mapping and the end to end IT integration architecture for business case

Asciano Limited was an Australian freight logistics company, operating in railway freight and shipping. Asciano owned Patrick Corporation and Pacific National as subsidiary companies. Asciano specialised in bulk and container shipping and transportation, with port and train operations across Australia. It had over 8,000 employees. It was an ASX 50 company.In the Maintenance System Manager role, I managed the Pacific National and Patrick maintenance and fuel applications. In this role I oversaw the rotable supply chain implementation, introduction of IBM Maximo to Pacific National and business case for the legacy system upgrade strategy leading to our Business Enterprise Asset Management program.
