Led development and implementation of the Portable Demonstration Suite (PDS) of the Standard Simulation Center (SSC) concept, to include presenting the PDS at international shows such as: ITEC (Den Haag, Holland), Eurosatory (Paris, France), and the International Simulation Workshop (Ljubljana, Slovenia). Received recognition for providing tireless on-site support during the establishing and conduction of exercises at simulation centers in Brno and Vyskov (Czech Republic) and Kosice and Liptovsky-Mikulas (Slovak Republic). Repeatedly demonstrated the ability to establish a close working rapport with customers of all types (both US Government and foreign nationals). Implemented extensive on-site development and integration of High Level Architecture (HLA) upgrade efforts at Ft. Rucker, AL, Ft. Campbell, KY and Hurlburt Field, FL, co-publishing two papers as a result of these projects. These efforts also required comprehensive networking capabilities, involving Cisco Routers and numerous SGI machines, to configure separate DIS and HLA subnets for long-haul communications through a T1 line. Successfully modified the Navy's Simulation Middleware Object Class (SMOC) code, for integration as an HLA interface library for use by the Aviation Test Bed’s (AVTB) reconfigurable RWA simulator. Designed and developed a Motif-based shared memory emulator to support testing of the AC-130U Special Operational Forces (SOF)/HLA test bed. Managed test and configuration management (CM)/ quality assurance (QA) team activities for ModSAF Maintenance under the ADST II contract. This included setting up a representative test bed of Sun, HP, DEC, SGI and PC/Linux machines and internal S/W baseline coordination with testing activities. Performed software deficiency detection and repair activities.

As a test engineer for the Brigade Combat Team Modernization (BCTM) Training Common Component (TCC) Test & Integration (TI) team, evaluated software deliveries of training products from SAIC (SAF, CBT), Lockheed Martin (DL, AAR, EM) and AT&T (VIOT), and generating appropriate documentation. From 09/06 until 05/10, acted under a SETA contract supporting the U.S. Army's Evaluation Center (AEC) to aid in evaluating readiness of the Future Combat Systems (FCS) Modeling and Simulation (M&S) team in preparing for Spin-Out 1 (SO1), and other FCS testing events. Tasks included collation of a reference architecture (TERRA) for the Test and Evaluation community, based on the DoD Architecture Framework guidelines, and analysis of testing requirements with applicable tools for use in the Limited User Test (LUT3).During a tenure in Huntington Beach, CA (07/05 – 09/06), worked with the FCS C4ISR IPT in requirements clarification efforts for Experiment 1.1, and ICS resource limitations and with the FCS TAR Test Data Management Center (TDMC) team. The later position involved identifying and utilizing various tools (including DOORS, MySQL & MS-SQL) for automating the collection, cataloging, indexing and retrieval processes and procedures for FCS System and System of Systems Test Data, along with development of Test Data Management Plans (TDMPs) for SO1 TFT and IMT1.

Acted as lead Systems Engineer for the International Simulation Centers and also Program Manager of a small Level-of-Effort DO (Air Maneuver Battle Lab (AMBL) Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV)) sub-contracting to Lockheed Martin. In this ongoing support of international and domestic efforts, was able to enhance constructive simulation capabilities. These enhancements include: systems engineering activities in facilitation of computer and network setup and configuration (LAN and WAN), simulation software installation and configuration, and modifications to OneSAF Test Bed (OTB), Dismounted Infantry (DISAF) and Joint SAF (JSAF) simulation software and exercise support to the Multi-Cell and Dismounted Command and Control (M&DC2) evaluations. For the DISAF Capabilities Enhancement (DCE5) program, trained and controlled operations of DISAF capabilities on-site at the Fort Campbell, KY Cassidy MOUT location. Involved in the engineering of the interface of a Slovak L-39 virtual aircraft simulator to the OTB operations center, including developing acceptance test procedures and performing the acceptance testing. Responsible for the requirements and architecture analysis leading to and including the software and hardware development and integration of a generic, virtual desktop simulator for deployment in the international simulation centers. This highly re-configurable simulator provides ground vehicle crew coordination and tactical training, with a wide selection of vehicle configurations (from T-72, to BMP-1 & -2, to HEMMT, from M-1 to HUMMV, etc.).
