Provided Direct, independent Technical and Engineering Management of the HESS operations, the Integrated Service Providers (ISP’s) and support services to the HESS Europe and Eurasia Production Group, to ensure technical assurance across all Operated and Non-Operated Production ventures.Key Responsibilities of the role.• Manage and develop the capabilities of the Engineering Contractors and consultants, including a day to day interface, liaison and focal point for Technical assurance activities within the HESS NW Europe Production business.• Establish Hess UK decommissioning strategy, Plan and Budget, CoP to project delivery• Manage Engineering and Technical assurance approach across all engineering ISP’s, to provide a clear and consistent approach to the engineering support required by HESS Europe and Eurasia Production.• Advise and approve changes in engineering; support priorities and budgets for major scopes of work; and management systems, practices and procedures to maintain and where possible, improve performance levels.• Provide Engineering advice and input to HESS Europe and Eurasia Production Asset(s) development opportunities.• Ensure Technical Integrity is maintained within the HESS NW Europe Production Asset portfolio via the role of the HESS Engineering Authority.Projects.• Triton Sand remove unit; Third Party Subsea Field tie backs over Triton (Clapham, Pict & Saxon); Triton FPSO OSPAR Upgrades.• FFFA Fields Decommissioning Phase I field suspension, Phase II Preparatory project; IVRR Field Decommissioning Phase I field suspension, Phase II preparatory project.Global Projects.• Technical Project Lead in the development and issue of the HESS E&P Integrity Management Key process, (Global Standard).

This role provided Operational Management and assurance to the day to day support and delivering HSE, operational and technical assurance for the Ivanhoe/Rob Roy and Rubie/Renee field operations via the AH001 Floating Production Facility (FPF), Annual Budget $44MMKey Responsibilities of the Field Operations Manager.• Working with the Offshore Installation Managers (OIM’s)/ISP Operations Managers, provide overall leadership for the Assets HSE improvement plans and establish systems and culture that ensures the safety of its people.• Prepare, agree and manage the allocated component of the installations business plan (specifically production and budget responsibilities) and key performance indicators.• Work in partnership with, and act as the main focal point for all Shared Services Groups & Contractors and Field/Facility stakeholders. Develop and lead business improvement processes which adds value to HESS.• Manage the Asset planning and Budget process.• Manage/Oversee the upkeep of the installation safety case.

This role provided Engineering assurance of the ISP’s and Hess support functions/services to ensure technical integrity across all Assets. Ensure compliance across main ISP’s to the engineering change management processes, the direct management of the Integrated Subsea Service Contractor and management of UK brown field developments.Key Responsibilities of the Team Leader.• Support and develop the capabilities of the ISP’s, including a day to day interface, liaison and, Engineering and technical focal point for Hess UK Operated Production.• Give guidance and Co-ordinate support engineering approach across all ISP’s, to provide a clear and consistent approach to the engineering support required by Hess UK Operated Production.• To monitor UK Operated Production engineering support performance and identify areas of poor performance.• Recommend/Challenge changes in engineering, support priorities and budgets for major scopes of work and; management systems, practices and procedures to maintain and where possible, improve performance levels and manage risk.• To provide Engineering support and input to UK Operated Production Asset(s) development opportunities.• To ensure Technical Integrity is maintained within the UK Operated Production.• To seek opportunity to add value to Hess UK Operated Production.
